Chair: Felix Whipple
Ladies and gentlemen, I’m Felix Whipple.
Huh, I thought that would look cooler than it does. Oh well, I can’t think of any other way to start this.
I graduated from Langley last spring. Currently, I’m a freshman at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. I play soccer, make music, and obsess over designer fashion that I will almost certainly never be able to afford. Seriously, I can name every look from Hedi Slimane’s S/S16 show for Saint Laurent (if you have any idea what I’m talking about, we’re gonna be best friends). Also -- guys, I will call you out if you make mistakes with your suit and tie game, so be prepared.
Be sure to read my chair’s letter at the beginning of the background guide. There’s all sorts of important info for you there that will help make committee run smoother. If you have any questions before committee, my contact info is included there too.
VIMUNC is always a blast, and I can’t wait to meet you all.
Stay groovy, baby.
Co-Chair: Nate Hotes
Hello delegates and welcome to VIMUNC IV! I'm very excited to be co-chairing the World Trade Organization committee. I am currently a senior at Langley, and on top of four years of Model UN I am president of Chess Club and participate in debate, cyber-patriot, and the Langley National Honor Society. While in committee, I look forward to impassioned debate on creative solutions to the complicated issues the World Trade Organization faces. I would like every delegate to remember that, while standing out is good, the best delegate brings out the best in other delegates. Thanks so much for this amazing opportunity, and get excited!

Co-Chair: Rebecca Canfield
Hey guys, I’m Becca! I’m a junior at Langley and this is my second year being a part of the Langley MUN family. One of my very first committees was WTO, so I'm super excited to be given the opportunity to co-chair this committee and hear all the innovative solutions you all propose. When I’m not crying over junior year and the amount of homework I have left to do, you'll find me listening to Hamilton, playing lacrosse, watching criminal minds re-runs, or playing with my dogs. I’m an avid crocs and fruit loops enthusiast. I'm looking forward to a great conference and getting to meet all of you! If you have any questions about the background guide, parli-pro or life in general, feel free to send me an email at email@example.com.
